Focused Research

Objectives:The objective of this project is to plan and conduct focused research programs in collaboration with, and jointly sponsored by, industry and local state and federal agencies.Methodology:We continue to develop collaborative efforts compsoed of local, state, and federal agencies as well as industrial partners. The intention is to develop several focused programs on research, each recieving direction and partial support through the action of partners who assist us through advisory committee participation.Rationale:Limitations of Sea Grant funding require creative collaboration with, and joint funding by, other agencies and industries to pursue directed research and related technology transfer.
