Visualizing a Resilient Coast: A Photographic Presentation with Visiting Artist Keith Ellenbogen
On Thursday, November 18, MIT Sea Grant hosted a coastal resilience presentation with our Visiting Artist Keith Ellenbogen in Hockfield Court, open to the MIT Community. >>View on the MIT Events Calendar
Kickoff was at 5:30pm with an introduction by MIT Sea Grant Director Michael Triantafyllou, followed by a photographic presentation and Q&A with our Visiting Artist Keith Ellenbogen. MIT Sea Grant UROP student Arianna Ilvonen (MechE ’24) also shared her cable-mounted coastal monitoring robot, Zippy!
The event explored Massachusetts coastal resilience topics including aquaculture, blue carbon, coastal erosion, habitats, fisheries, and threatened local species, highlighted in the signage below. (All photographs by Keith Ellenbogen.)
